WHAT IS THE JOURNEY? | The Journey (TM) was born out of the experience of Brandon Bays, then one of Anthony Robbins' head trainers and a wellness guru. When she developed a tumour the size of a baseball in her uterus, she felt led to explore other paths than surgery to find healing. Knowing the work of Dr Deepak Chopra, an eminent endocrinologist who had studied what it was that made some cancer patients spontaneously heal, Brandon was convinced that the key to her healing lay in facing whatever painful past experiences had been stored in her body at the cellular level. After just 6 weeks Brandon was pronounced completely free of the tumour and she set out to create a method by which anyone could have a chance to find their own healing path. The result was The Journey - a gentle meditative process directed by the body's inner wisdom, which leads to profound results. At the back of the book there is a Journey script and many people have had success using just this. Karen and her husband Mike both started by going to a Journey Intensive weekend - jumping in at the deep end! Mike says 'we had both done a lot of self-development work, including spending a year in relationship counseling, but this one weekend produced deeper shifts and more rapid growth than anything I'd experienced before'. For Karen it was a start of a process which led to her training as a Journey Practitioner and, incidentally, becoming completely free of the depression and chronic pain which had crippled her life. Many people find it helpful to have their journey processes facilitated by an experienced practitioner who can discern the tricks of the mind and help them relax into their own inner healing. Karen offers a session lasting up to three hours in a dedicated and tranquil Journey room at her home in Bentleigh. Major shifts and breakthroughs are regularly experienced in these sessions.
